We love it and think you will also. Most of our guests return year after year and say it is like coming home. The quiet and tranquility is what draws people in the most. Nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, Brookview Manor is situated on over five hilly acres across from the Brodhead Creek and is surrounded by over 200 privately owned acres of forests. The Brookview Manor also boasts a 1,060 square foot wraparound porch with rocking chairs and what could be the county’s largest porch swing.
The first floor consists of a living room with a turreted lounge area and bar surrounded by three curved glass windows. The first floor includes the library area that also has a fireplace and is a quiet nook to relax in.
Herman’s room, which has a fireplace, assorted games and Herman’s home, is a great place to unwind or enjoy a game of chess or checkers.
“My wife and I spent Memorial Day weekend at the cozy Brookview Manor Inn.
Walking through the front entrance we began to take in all the charm and interesting odds and ends all around us. It appeared that we were the only ones here and began to wonder how to check-in. Then from behind a door near the front desk, we heard a curious voice say “hit the bell”. Looking for a bell that had seemingly passed our eyes we located a porcelain bellhop holding a bell with a sign that said “ring for assistance”, and so we did.
Then he appeared, almost on queue from behind the door, Marty, chef extraordinaire, and we would soon find, quite the entertainer. He gave us the warmest welcome while he waited for Gale, his wife of 40 years to check us in. Gale, like Marty, was a character and seeing them banter back and forth made this manor really feel like a home.
Wonderful 1st Time Experience
“We stayed in Room # 10 which had a whirlpool tub and is located in the carriage house. The bathroom was huge, tub relaxing, bed comfortable and really exceeded my expectations as a first time BnB guest. We had dinner both nights at their restaurant on the main floor of the main house. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for their dinner and breakfasts as well. I am gluten free and they had no issues accommodating me. They are about 15 minutes from the casino which made a nice nighttime activity and driving through the dark country roads was fun too! During the day we went to Bushkill Falls which was close and easy to get to from Brookview Manor. I’ve already spoken to my husband about going again… once we don’t feel bad asking family to watch the kids again!”

“Gale and Marty are the nicest people. Felt at home as soon as I waked in. Gale let us walk around and choose what room we wanted to stay in. We chose room 5 which was very cute. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Fruit cup, muffins , scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles. Everything was delicious. Stuffed for the rest of the day. Such a nice out of the way place for a relaxing get away. We will definitely come back.”

“We stayed for weekend away celebrating 36th wedding anniversary! The place was quaint, cozy and clean, The staff were very friendly! The breakfast was fit for a king coffee, juice, warm muffins, eggs, sausage and home made waffles. We went to my daughters place for gourmet dinner each night!”
